10/21/2011 - AST #11-105211 Theft II, Burglary II

On Thursday 10-20-11 at approximately 7:15 AM, Alaska State Troopers
responded to a report of a theft from a building located off of East Whispering Woods Drive in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed unknown person(s) entered a garage and removed approximately $2,000 worth of property including numerous tools.

10/1/2011 - AST #11-94068 Burglary

A Palmer Grand Jury indicted nine individuals on a combined 72 felony charges on Sept. 29, 2011 stemming from the theft of 38 firearms from the Three Bears store along the Palmer-Wasilla Highway on Sept. 18, 2011. The indictment is a result of a joint investigation by the Alaska State Troopers B Detachment Patrol, Alaska Bureau of Investigation (ABI), Statewide Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Palmer Police Department.  Defendants are Wasilla residents 30-year-old Amber Helmann and 18-year-old Christopher Everly; Palmer residents 19-year-old John Stern, 19-year-old Mitchell Cupp, 24-year-old Joseph Price and 18-year-old Joseph Owens as well as Laurie Plyler, 24, of Eagle River and Kevin Angel, 29, of Chugiak. A 16-year-old Palmer boy was also involved in the case and is being charged as a juvenile. All nine face a variety of charges to include first- and second-degree burglary, second-degree theft and second-degree theft by receiving. Any charges reported are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
The majority of the firearms stolen from the store have been recovered. Joint efforts by state, federal, and local authorities are underway to recover all the stolen firearms.
The ATF announced a $2,500 reward will be offered for information leading to the recovery of the stolen firearms as well as the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the theft of firearms.

9/30/2011 - AST #11-97677 Vehicle Theft

RECOVERED

On Wednesday 9-28-11 at 12:34 PM, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle stolen from a residence located on Delroy Road in Houston.  A black 1981 International dump truck with a picture of a double shovel on the door has been missing since 9-14-11 (similar picture).

9/23/2011 - AST #11-92037 Burglary II, Theft II
On Tuesday, 9/13/11 at approximately 7:41 AM, the Alaska State Troopers responded to the report of a burglary at Custom Truck Accessory located on Fireweed Road in Palmer.  Investigation revealed, unknown suspect(s) entered the business and stole multiple items including lights and batteries which are valued in excess of $3,000.

9/1/2011 - AST #11-84677 Burglary I, Theft II, Trespassing I, Criminal Mischief IV
On Thursday, 8/25/11 at approximately 5:19 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary at a residence located on N. Loma Prieta Drive, in Palmer. Investigation revealed unknown person(s) broke into the residence and stole approximately $2,500.00 worth of property and caused approximately $100.00 damage to the property. Items stolen include an Apple MacBook, an IPad, and X-Box.

9/1/2011 - Wasilla PD# 11-1184 Burglary
On Monday, 8-29-11 at 8:06 AM, Wasilla Police responded a report of a burglary at a TC Construction located at the corner of Nugget Avenue and Lucus Road in Wasilla. Investigation revealed seven nail/coil/screw guns worth $2,300, two mechanical saws worth $1,800, and a shotgun worth $1,500 were stolen from the business.  The burglary occurred sometime between Friday 8-26 at 6:00 PM and Monday at 8:00 AM.

8/27/2011 - AST #11-78033 Burglary I, Theft II, Attempted Burglary II

On Monday 8/8/11 at approximately 8:40 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary and theft from a residence located off of E. Wanamingo Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed unknown person(s) broke into the residence and removed approximately $2,000.00 worth of property.  There was approximately $400.00 in damage to the property and the suspect(s) also attempted to break into the storage shed on the property.   Electronics stolen include Sound Ordinance P-57 car speakers, a JVC KW-XR610 CD receiver, and HPI Racing Nissan Skyline remote controlled car.   Eight racing helmets were also stolen and are described as a Fox Racing V1 Camplosion, (two) Fly Lite III, Fox Racing women’s V-1, One Industries Kombat, One Industries Trooper Race, Thor Motocross Quadrant Vision, and Thor Motocross Force 2 Superlight.

8/27/2011 - AST #11-84761 Arson
On Thursday 8/25/11 at approximately 9:23 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a structure fire at a property on South Lodge Drive, in Big Lake. The structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire and is a total loss with damage estimated at $3,000.00. The cause of the fire is considered suspicious and investigation is ongoing.

8/27/2011 - AST #11-79187 Burglary I, Theft II, Trespassing I, Criminal Mischief III

On Friday 8/12/11 at approximately 5:31 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary and theft from a residence located off of Ravens Flight Drive in Wasilla. Investigation revealed an unknown person(s) had broken into the residence and removed approximately $3,000.00 worth of property. Items stolen include a 46” Sony Bravia Television, an X-Box 360, X-Box 360 Kinect, and several games.

8/27/2011 - AST #11-83791 Burglary 1st, Criminal Mischief 3rd
On Tuesday, 8/23/11 at approximately 10:53 AM, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a residential burglary on Cottonwood Loop in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed an unknown suspect(s) entered the house and caused approximately $500 in damage.  The residence was currently up for sale and someone attempted to steal the carpeting.
