8/13/2011 - AST #11-78472 Vehicle Theft 1st, Theft 2nd
On 8/9/11 at approximately 9:30 PM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a vehicle theft and theft from a property located off of Captain Hook Drive in the Pittman area of Wasilla. Investigation revealed unknown person(s) removed approximately $6,000 worth of property which included a generator, generator house, tires, a green 1988 Ford F15 pickup truck and a pink Ford side step pickup truck.

7/24/2011 - AST #11-58881 Theft 2nd
On 6-24-11 at approximately 9:37 AM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft on Anderson Drive in Sutton.  Investigation revealed several tools totaling approximately $2,500 were taken during the early evening hours of 6-23-11.  Investigation is ongoing

7/19/2011 - AST #11-68936 Theft 2nd
On 7-18-11 at approximately 12:44 PM, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft of copper wire from Quality Sand and Gravel located on Hyer Road in Palmer.  The copper is valued in excess of $3,000. The case is still under investigation.

7/16/2011 - AST #11-66703 Burglary 1st, Theft 2nd
On 07-12-11 at approximately 6:30 pm, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary at a residence located off of E. Pilgrim Ct, in Wasilla. Investigation revealed entry into the residence through a window, as well as approximately $1300 worth of electronic equipment stolen from the residence which included two computers and Xbox game system. Investigation continues.

7/7/2011 - AST #11-62292 Vehicle Theft 2nd

Recovered

On 7-2-11 at approximately 11:16 AM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a stolen ATV from the Jim Creek Recreational Area.  Investigation revealed a green 2011 Polaris Sportsman 500 was stolen during the early morning hours on 7-2-11. The investigation is ongoing.

7/7/2011 - AST #11-63737 Vehicle Theft 1st

RECOVERED

On 7-5-11 at approximately 4:30 PM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a stolen vehicle from the Burkshore Marina parking lot.  Investigation revealed that sometime in the last two days, a 2005 black GMC Sierra extra cab pickup had been taken from the lot.

6/16/2011 - AST #11-37085 Burglary / Fraud
On 4-25-11 at about 5:50 PM, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residential burglary off Morning Mist Drive near Nelson Road in Palmer.  Investigation revealed the suspect(s) stole numerous items including an Apple IPad, Nikon camera, and a credit card from inside the home.  Afterwards, the suspect(s) used the credit card at various businesses around the Wasilla area.   A suspect has been developed and is described as a white male, early teens to mid twenties, medium build and approximately 6’3” tall.  The suspect was wearing sunglasses and dark colored hooded sweatshirt, with the number ’87 on the side of the hood.

6/4/2011 - AST #11-46593 Arson
On 5-22-11 at 9:30 AM the Alaska State Troopers responded to a small A-frame cabin fully engulfed which was located off Vine Road and S. Valley View in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed that a fire was intentionally set by an unknown person(s) and the cabin was a total loss.  Investigation is continuing.

5/18/2011 - AST #11-42088 Arson
On 5-10-11 at approximately 2:32 AM (Tuesday morning), Alaska State Troopers responded to an unoccupied vehicle burning at the Pink Flamingo Car Wash located on the Parks Highway near Lamont Way. Central Mat-Su Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. Investigation revealed the vehicle had been intentionally set on fire, causing over $5,000 in damage to a white 1991 Toyota 4-door and other vehicles in the area.  Investigation is ongoing.

5/2/2011 - AST #11-38213 Arson
On 4-28-11 at approximately 7:40 PM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a camper trailer on fire at A&E Storage located near Mile 46 of the Parks Highway in Wasilla. Investigation revealed unknown subject(s) caused a fire damaging two vehicles.  There was approximately $15,000 in damage to the camper trailer and vehicles.
