10/22/2010 - AST #10-92794 - Vehicle Theft

On 09/28/10 at approximately 10:50 AM, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Arabian Way in Palmer to investigate the theft of a 2006 Polaris 500 four-wheeler, black/silver in color with a plow and winch. The four-wheeler was taken from the driveway sometime between 9/26/10 and 9/28/10 (without the key).  The estimated value is $6,000.

10/11/2010 - AST #10-92284 - Burglary I - Theft II

On 09/26/2010 at approximately 6:26 PM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of a burglary at a residence on Mayflower Lane in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed that between 4:00 PM and 6:26 PM someone entered the residence and stole a Remington Model 870 .12 gauge shotgun and Toshiba Satellite laptop.  The shotgun is valued at $450 and the laptop is valued at $501.

9/15/2010 - AST #10-86353 - Vehicle Theft

On 09/09/2010 at approximately 2:00 PM, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a theft from the Hartley Motors store located at 1750 James Place near Trunk Road and the Parks Highway.  Investigation revealed sometime during the evening of 9-8-10 or the morning of 9-9-10 the chain link fence surrounding the yard where 4-wheelers are stored was cut and the lock on the back gate was broken.  Four 4-wheelers were stolen from the yard and driven away into the subdivision north of Hartley Motors:

Yellow Honda TRX 400 EX Sport Model

9/3/2010 - WPD #10-1041 - Burglary

On 8-7-10 at approximately 7:41 AM the Wasilla Police Department received a report of a burglary at the Valley Pro Lube located on the Palmer Wasilla Highway in Wasilla.   Investigation revealed that damage was done to the rear roll up door and that the window to the office, which was accessed through the wash bay, was smashed.  A safe and several thousand dollars in cash and gold colored wash tokens were stolen.  Estimated total loss is approximately $8,750.00.  Investigation continues.

8/27/2010 - AST #10-73297 - Burglary

On 8-5-10 at approximately 5:17 PM, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary at a residence located off of S. Loussac Lane in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed non-forced entry into the residence through a dog door.  Over  $8,000 worth of items were stolen from the residence to include a 19” Toshiba TV/DVD Model 19HLV87A, blue/gray HP laptop, Asus laptop, Wii game console, Panasonic camera Model Lumix DMC-TZ5, Kodak Easyshare camera Model CD33, a gold and diamond wedding ring set, 10K topaz white gold ring, Dooney & Bourke purse, miscellaneous clothing and other miscellaneous jewelry.

8/13/2010 - WPD #10-1036 - Burglary

On 8-5-10 at approximately 6:45 PM the Wasilla Police Department received a report of a burglary at a residence located near Spruce Road in Heritage Estates in Wasilla.  Several collector items were stolen including a Cobray M11 fully automatic sub machine gun, four noise suppressors (assorted models), and a H & K (Heckler & Koch) USP compact .40 pistol .  Personal items stolen include a Lumix Panasonic digital camera, Polaroid camera, Kodak digital camera, a Mac Book Pro laptop, a Toshiba laptop, and a pair of women’s shoes.  The total value of the stolen items is estimated at $21,720.00. Investigation continues.

8/6/2010 - AST #10-68598 - Burglary
On 7-25-10 at approximately 6:30 PM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of two burglaries on Thunder Cloud Drive (near Bruce Lake in the Pittman area of Wasilla).  Investigation revealed the victims had returned to their properties on Thunder Cloud Dr to find that they had been broken into.  The value of items stolen including power tools, a blue 2005 Polaris Sportsman ATV, a green/black 2006 Polaris Sportsman ATV, and damage to the property was over $9,000.00.  This case is still under investigation.

7/29/2010 - RECOVERED: AST #10-65822 - Theft of Aircraft

On 07/18/2010 at approximately 4:35 PM, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of an airplane theft from the Big Lake Airport.  Investigation revealed that an unknown person or persons stole a white and red Piper Cub PA-18-150 with tail #N2340S, sometime in the last three weeks. Inside the plane was a Vale 760 radio and wing covers.  Investigation continues.

7/21/2010 - AST #10-63116 - Burglary II, Theft II

On 7/12/2010 at approximately 8:35 AM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary at a business near Palmer.  Investigation revealed the "Get and Go" liquor store on the Old Glenn Highway had been burglarized during the evening of 7/11/2010.  Property was damaged and numerous items were taken, including bottles of alcohol, cash, and an ATM machine.  Investigation revealed that the phone lines to the ATM were cut.  The machine was then drug through a hole in a chain link fence (on the property) to the Old Glenn Highway.

7/16/2010 - AST #10-57979 - Theft II

On 6/19/2010 at approximately 2:46 PM, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a theft involving a Shill antique pot bellied stove stolen from a business in Big Lake during the weekend of 6/26/2010 and 6/27/2010.  The stove is valued at $5,000.  The attached picture shows the stove before restoration.  Investigation continues.
