At approximately 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, the Key Bank branch at 201 North Lucille St. in Wasilla, Alaska was robbed by an unidentified subject.  After verbally demanding cash and obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled the bank on foot via the bank’s west exit and headed south, running across the Parks Highway, the railroad tracks, and towards Railroad Avenue and Lake Lucille.  Shortly thereafter, witnesses saw a car traveling east on Railroad Avenue, then south on Knik Goose Bay Road, at a high rate of speed.

Witnesses described the subject as was a white male with light skin, approximately 6’0” tall, medium build, and possibly dark hair.  He was wearing camouflage pants, a thick camouflage jacket with a detachable hood pulled up over his head, sunglasses with black lenses and black plastic frames, camouflage gloves, and a black scarf or balaclava with a grey design over his face, covering from his nose to his throat.

The car is described as light in color, possibly white or silver, with a black hood and black front bumper which did not match the rest of the car, possibly as a result of repairs following an accident.
