6/26/2015 - AST AK#15048244 Homicide


Alaska State Troopers are looking for anyone with information regarding Christopher Seaman’s activities or people he was associated with between the afternoon of Monday, June 22 and the time his body was discovered in a car parked near the fireworks stands in Big Lake Tuesday night. Anyone who might have seen Seaman or his silver Honda Civic with Alaska license plate FJS829 in that timeframe can call Alaska State Troopers at (907)745-2131 or Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at (907)745-3333.

At approximately 10:45 p.m. on June 23, troopers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked off the highway in Big Lake. AST located a deceased adult male, later identified as 23-year-old Palmer resident Christopher Seaman, inside the parked car. Based on information gathered at the scene, Seaman’s death appeared suspicious. Further investigation determined the cause of death was a result of a homicide. Investigation is ongoing.

6/18/2015 - AST #AK15045581 Theft 2nd
On Monday, 6-15-15 at approximately 3:45 PM, Alaska State Troopers received a report of theft from property located on Leprechaun Drive in Wasilla.  Multiple items were stolen from the property including hunting, camping and fishing equipment as well as a 60’s model BSA500 motocross bike.  Estimated loss is estimated at over $750.

6/7/2015 - AST #AK15042058 Burglary, Criminal Mischief

On Friday, 6-4-15 at 8:05 AM, Alaska State Troopers responded to report of a burglary at an apartment complex under construction on Wassim Circle in Wasilla.  An investigation showed sometime during the previous night someone entered the building and damaged windows and items inside the building.  The estimated value of the damage is $1,000.  The suspect cut themselves during the incident and may have injuries to their hand(s) or arm(s).

4/11/2015 - AST #AK15022466 Burglary in the 2nd, Criminal Mischief in the 3rd, Theft in the 3rd

On Monday, 3-30-15 at approximately 4:11 AM, a 911 call was received by the Alaska State Troopers stating the Hill Top Tesoro in Sutton had been burglarized. Troopers arrived and an investigation revealed the Hill Top Tesoro was broken into between 1:40 AM and 2:00 AM.  Two security windows were broken, a cigarette machine was heavily damaged, and several hundred dollars’ worth of tobacco products, and an undetermined amount of cash was taken from a donation bucket. The donation bucket was to assist a family in a recent fire that lost their entire home. The suspect is described as a white or Native male or female, approximately 5’7” to 5’10” tall and 200 to 220 lbs.  Investigation continues.

3/28/2015 - AST #AK15020261 Criminal Mischief 3, Criminal Trespass 1
On Sunday 3-22-15 at 8:00 AM, Troopers received a report of vandalism near Mile Post 60 of the Glenn Highway in Sutton. An investigation revealed that an unknown person(s) intentionally damaged numerous vehicles on the property causing functional and cosmetic damage in excess of $10,000. The investigation continues.

3/19/2015 - AST #AK15017489 Burglary 1st, Theft 2nd, Criminal Trespass 1st
On Thursday, 3-11-15 at approximately 12:33 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary after the fact at a residence located on S. Morgan (in the area Sylvan Lane and Hollywood Road) in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed someone had entered the residence and stole a Sentry safe containing personal documents and a large sum of cash.  Approximately thirty firearms were taken from the residence.  Total value of the items is estimated over $50,000.00.

2/11/2015 - AST #AK15010014 Armed Robbery
On 2-9-15 at approximately 7:40 PM Alaska State Troopers responded to the Geneva Woods Pharmacy on Seward Meridian Parkway in Wasilla for the report of an armed robbery.  Investigation determined that an unknown male forced entry through the back door of the pharmacy while the lone pharmacist was preparing to close the pharmacy for the evening.  The suspect was armed with a firearm and forced the pharmacist to fill up a large tote with all of the controlled prescription medication.  The pharmacist was unharmed during the robbery.  Investigation is ongoing.

1/28/2015 - WPD #15-86 Theft

On 1-8-15 at 12:03 PM, Wasilla Police responded to Alaska Mini Storage located at 190 E. Paulson Avenue for a report of a theft from one of the units.  At least six firearms and between $1500 and $2000 worth of other items were taken.  This case is currently under investigation.

Some other items are: 47” Vizio flat screen TV, computer/monitor, humidifier/ 2 boxes of filters, BS2-BS3 Black Blue Ray, Blue Ray DVRs (2) and stereo, ladder ($500), A Queen size bed and headboard, and a variety of clothing and miscellaneous items.

1/15/2015 - AST #AK15002838/AST #AK15003015 Burglary

On 1-12-15 at 1:33 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle with company decals from Sockeye Asphalt located on Lucille Street in Wasilla.  Investigation revealed a white 2012 Chevy Flatbed truck bearing AK plate GKH322 was stolen sometime after 3:30 PM on 1-09-15. 


On 1-13-15 at 9:51 AM, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a burglary after the fact at a residence located on Shalestone Loop in Wasilla.  An investigation revealed a gas stove was stolen from the living room area of the residence sometime after 1-8-15. The house contained no other heat source, which caused the pipes to freeze, damaging the water softener system.  Estimated loss is $3,000.
Troopers suspect the theft of the Chevy flatbed truck may be linked to the burglary on Shalestone Loop.

12/19/2014 - AST #AK14095972 Burglary I & Theft II
On Sunday 12-13-14 at approximately 10:55 PM, Alaska State Troopers responded to an address on Parsons St. in Big Lake for a report of a burglary. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered the residence and stole a firearm described as a .45 caliber Highpoint pistol.
